I’m a writer, editor, journalist, content strategist and all-around wordsmith. Most of the time, I report on health, parenting, travel and lifestyle for national news outlets. I also do content marketing writing for brands.

I’ve been a public radio producer for a Las Vegas daily news show and a senior editor at Forbes Travel Guide, where I edited a daily content channel on Forbes.com. I have a Masters in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School.

My work has been published in The New York Times, the Associated Press, BBC Future, BuzzFeed, The Cut, WebMD, Forbes.com, RealSimple.com, Parents.com, Newsweek, Slate, Yahoo, the Chicago Tribune, InStyle.com, University of Chicago Magazine, The Bump, Babble and other outlets.  

After living 10 years in Chicago and a couple in Amsterdam, I’m currently based in Seattle.
